A government job is easier to get if you have done your B.V.Sc & A.H degree as the competition is much less than other sectors and there the average salary is Rs. 50,000 depending upon your role and post in the job. The salaries for Govt. sector are considered to be quite good and you would get around 5–6 lac/year. at the starting of your career which is quite good :) But one con in working in the govt. sector is that no matter how much you contribute your salary is going to be constant for a long time
Another option is to open up a clinic and earn which is quite lucrative career in cities like Kathmandu, Chitwan and other major cities . A veterinarian ends up earning 5–20 lac/Yr. and some may earn even more on the basis of their experience!!!
